Capital City Club/Crabapple---Alpharetta, GA

This course is part of the Capital City club network of courses in Atlanta.  It is one of the oldest and most exclusive
clubs in Atlanta.  The Crabapple course is a Fazio design and has been the host of many amateur championships
and a few PGA events, including the 2003 World Golf Championships.

The interesting thing about the course is that there is no water.  However, in replace of water hazards are bunkers,
bunkers, and more bunkers…waste bunkers, fairways bunkers, pot bunkers, and green side bunkers to name a few.

Another notable feature of this golf course are the greens…hard as a rock, fast as ice, and very, very big.  The
course is always in immaculate shape with picture perfect greens, wide open fairways, and beautiful bunkers.

Did I mention bunkers?

Certainly a fun course to play.  With the wide fairways you can grip it and rip it without any fear of hitting the water
and with the wide, wide open fairways you have to work hard at being ob off the tee.  It is a bombers dream!

You must be smart when approaching the green.  Don't play to the pin, instead bounce it onto the front of the green
and let it roll up.  If you hit the green, the ball will bounce high and hard and most likely roll off the back.

Overall Crabapple is a challenging, but fair course.
