Bears Best Atlanta-Suwanee, GA

Let me start by saying what a great concept…take the favorite holes of Jack Nicklaus from around the world and
copy them for 18 holes on a course in the suburbs of Atlanta.  Obviously, this gives the course an almost
unmatched level of variety.

The course is a higher-end public course and it is usually in nice shape, but does get a very good
amount of play…so the greens are nice, but not overly fast and they have some ball marks on them.  All that is to be
expected, given that the course is public.

The course has wide open fairways and is a bombers dream.  The greens are big and soft and very receptive.  If
you come to Bears Best with your long game on fire, you will put up a nice score.  The course is certainly a
challenge given all the different types of holes and variety of designs, but it is very playable.

The forecaddie program gives you a built in expert of the course in your group, which is always good for first time
players.

It plays appoximately 6,440 yards from the blues and is rated 70.7/130.

The course is nowhere near the best course I have ever played, but I don't think it is designed to be that.  It is
designed to be played by a group of guys looking to have fun playing the game of golf.  In fact, I can almost
guarantee a very enjoyable round if you play at Bears Best.
