This is a Tom Fazio designed course set up at the wonderful resort on Kiawah Island. From the Osprey tees the
course measures 6,502 yards and is rated 72/133.
The course itself is routed through the resort's streets and cottages, the marsh land, and some of the native lands.
Without question some of this routing takes advantages of some beautiful scenery, like this side view of the par 3
3rd hole.
Fazio seemed to be charged with building a playable and player friendly course that was pleasing to the eye and
forgiving to the resort golfer. And along those lines he delivered.
The course is pleasant and enjoyable, but not a stern test of golfing ability. But, quite frankly, isn’t this what most of
the resort golfers want?
