The Hooch Golf Club—Duluth, GA
The Hooch Golf Club is an 18 hole par 61 executive golf course. Prior to my joining St. Ives, I would frequent The
Hooch’s 12 acre driving range to work on my ball striking, putting, and chipping.
However, I didn’t play the course itself until about 2 years later…well after I joined St. Ives.
I think the course could serve as an inexpensive way for people to play golf and learn the game. However, I do not
think the course itself offers much in the way of interesting architecture or thrilling golf.
I would recommend River Pines over The Hooch if you are on a limited budget.
