Barnsley Gardens; The General Golf Course---Adairsville, GA
Barnsley Gardens is a 5 star luxury retreat in North Georgia. During your stay there, you will have you own private
cabin, access to a wonderful pool, incredible dining, hiking trails, gardens, skeet shooting, and the golf course. It is
truly one of Georgia’s great escapes. I recommend everyone get there and check it out. It is a special place.
As for the golf course, it is average at best. It is not suitable for walking at all. Green to tee transitions are not only
long, but they are up and down incredible hills. The green sites are average…nothing bad, but nothing exciting
either. And some of the shots are redundant as well. Lots of doglegs and lots of up and down hill shots.
As a matter of fact, there are two drop shot par 3 holes…that are almost identical in character.
I can’t say I LOVED to golf course, but I certainly would play it again. And I certainly will be back to Barnsley
Gardens, as the entire place is real special.
